Cat laser

This school project was made using physical hardware to interact with the presentation. That was made possible through the use of an arduino nano connected to multiple light receptors and buttons. The goal of the project was to have people aim a cat laser light in corners of a screen to trigger an event and have a cat on-screen try to touch the laser in the corner. I worked on all of the visual assets and animations, while my teammates worked on the functionality of the code and other elements like music or sound effects.

Software used:

  • Photoshop (Illustration)

  • Aftereffect (Animation)

  • Unity

  • Max cycling 74

Following is a video example of the project in action, sadly this is the only video I had of it but we can see the white box with the yellow button to the left is what contained the light receptors which triggered the respective animations, while the button triggered a "miaw" sound from the cat.
